About this event

In its 88-year history, the Count Basie Orchestra has won every respected jazz poll in the world at least once and played every major jazz festival and major concert hall in the world. The band thrills audiences by sticking to its fundamentals: Foot-stomping swing in 4/4 time, shouting the blues at any tempo and just making you want to dance.

Orchestra directed by Scotty Barnhart with guest vocalist Carmen Bradford.
